In the Twos rooms children participate in large group, small group and individual activities. Children in these rooms are also given a variety of jobs (examples include; bell ringer, five minute reminder, table setter).  With these responsibilities, the children have a sense of ownership for their classroom. Children’s play changes as they turn two years old, and the need for peer to peer imaginative play begins to become a priority for children this age. Teachers often incorporate additional materials to learning areas each month to engage and challenge the children with new opportunities. This is where final potty training happens. We provide ample time for this to happen at a child’s own pace of development before moving on to Pre-School.
